Christmas carol bingo
Play or sing a few bars, and players mark the carol on their card. A musical twist on bingo for family parties, choirs and music class.
About these christmas carols bingo cards
Carol bingo works like a music round at a pub quiz. The host plays a carol, sings the opening or hums the tune, and players mark the title if it is on their card. People who know the songs well get a quick edge, and everyone else learns a few titles.
The default list sticks to traditional carols that most families and choirs know. Add the songs your family always plays, and the generator mixes them into every card.

Ways to play
Make a playlist first
Put every carol on the list into one playlist, shuffle it, and play 15 to 20 seconds of each. The playlist is your caller.
Hum it, don't sing it
For a harder round, the host hums the tune with no words. It is surprisingly tricky and good for laughs.
Music class review
After a unit on winter music, play short clips and let students match the title. Add composers or countries of origin as a bonus question.
Questions
Do I need to play recordings?
No. Someone can sing or hum the first line. A playlist just makes it easier for the host.
Can I add pop Christmas songs?
Yes. Type any song titles into the word box, one per line. Mixing classic carols with modern hits works well for mixed ages.
How long does a round take?
About 15 minutes with 20-second clips on a 5x5 card. Use a 4x4 card for a faster game.
