How to make bingo cards

  1. Type or paste your words into the box, one per line. Or start from one of the ready-made themes above.
  2. Choose a card size, how many cards you need, and how many fit on each page.
  3. Press Download PDF, or Print to send the cards straight to your printer.

Every card is shuffled from your list, so each player gets a different card. The PDF also includes calling slips: every word in a box, ready to cut out and draw from a bowl.

How to play bingo

Give each player a card and something to mark squares with: a pen, a crayon, or small candies. One person is the caller. They draw a calling slip, read the word out loud, and set the slip aside. Players who have that word on their card mark it.

The first player to mark a full row, column or diagonal shouts "Bingo!" The caller checks their marked words against the slips that have been drawn. If they all match, that player wins the round. With a free space, the middle square counts as already marked.

For a longer game, play for a blackout: the first player to mark every square on the card wins. For party games where things happen during the event, like a shower or a wedding, skip the caller and let players mark squares as they see them.

Questions

Is this bingo card generator free?

Yes. Make and print as many cards as you like with no account and no watermark beyond a small web address in the footer of each card.

How many unique cards can I make?

Up to 200 per batch. Each card is shuffled separately, and the generator checks that no two cards in a batch are the same.

What do I need for a 5x5 card?

At least 24 words with a free space, or 25 without. For 4x4 you need 16, and for 3x3 you need 8 with a free space.

Will my word list be saved?

Your last list is kept in this browser so you can come back to it. It is never uploaded. Use "Copy a share link" to send the list to someone else.

Can I make bingo cards with pictures?

Not yet. Cards are text-only, which keeps them quick to print in black and white.
